    Description

    Sanborn #R 1674 shows a portion of the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. At the time this photo was taken the Trail Ridge Road was still a gravel highway crossing the continental divide and joining Estes Park, Colorado to Grand Lake, Colorado. The card is in very good condition with minor wear on the lower corners. The Kodak stamp box indicates the card was made from 1950 on, but the gravel road is an indicator of early 1950's at the latest.
